Most of us renew a policy without ever reading it. Brakelo exists so the paperwork makes sense before the bad day.
01What we do
We explain usage-based programs, borrowed and rented cars, uninsured drivers, weather damage and coverage gaps. We keep the language plain and the claims modest.
02What we do not do
We do not sell insurance, quote prices, match you with companies, or share your details with anyone who might want to sell you something.
03Where our facts come from
We write from general, widely shared guidance, such as that published by state insurance departments and consumer organizations, and point to public resources when they are the best place to learn more. If something here differs from your own policy, your policy wins.
